  ' Olympias '

( Wetnurse to Alexander 'the Great ' )

Olympias ,was the ' wetnurse ' to Alexander 'the Great '(Born 6/10/356 B.C. - Died 6/10/323 B.C.),'Pontifex-Maximus'(from 331 B.C. till 323 B.C. ) of 'Athens'( Greece), Alexander's biological mother was Paris,Paris was purposely enstranged to Alexander to the time of his birth, on June 10,356 B.C. In ancient Greek times,it was not strange for a personage of high rank to have a wetnurse, especially a personage who would take high office of state, that being Alexander 'the Great'. The job of a 'wetnurse' is to be beautiful physically,to be highly educated,to be well versed in the Greek arts and history, to come from a highly prominent family background, that being Patrician. It was also customary for a wetnurse to bring along a biological son,to one day serve his great lord, that biological son was Hephaestion,Hephaestion was the biological son of Olympias. Olympias acted as mother to Alexander 'the Great',while Hephaestion(biological son of Olympias) acted as his brother, the bond was so great between the three, that it is said that Alexander 'the Great', cried for Olympias's son Hephaestion when he died in 324 B.C.,it is no doubt that the death of Hephaestion encouraged the suicide of Alexander 'the great' on June 10,323 B.C. The same can be said of Achilles

(Born n/a - Died 625 B.C. ),'Praefectus-Urbi'( from 645 B.C. till 625 B.C.) of 'Sparta'(Pelo-

ponnesus),Patroclus's mother was wetnurse to Achilles, yes the same Achilles who participated in the 'Trojan War',which was actually the '2nd Trojan War'( 640 B.C - 620-

B.C.).
